Synchronize the clock on your PC with Internet server timetables.

As you may or may not have been able to work out (though we doubt it very much) just from the name, Neutron is a small and simple tool to synchronize timetables, and works to adjust the time on your computer to specialized Internet server timetables. Thus you will have the most precise time available on your computer.

Among its best options, in Neutron you can automatically obtain the time of a server timetable, shut down the computer automatically when you get it, or place a shortcut on the desktop. Neutron uses the standard timetable protocol (UDP, 37 port). The time it obtains is expressed as the number of seconds that have passed since midnight on 1st Jan. 1900.

This Neutron program only allows accuracy down to the second you may not get the most accurate time possible but it is usually good enough to always be within about half a second of "true" time. It is still very easy to download, install and then use, through its friendly and intuitive user interface. You don't need any technical experience at all to get the most out of it.
